Today we are practicing self-love and we want to share it with you! This episode is just in time for Valentine’s Day and is all about loving yourself.

We know that it can be really difficult to find strength when you are going through tough times. We are all entitled to experience in our own way in order to heal. Today we want to offer some ways from our own experience that will help you to be your best self in 2017.

The main ideas that we have found to be most helpful are:

  1. Self-affirmations. These are so incredible underestimated and important. Find time each day to look yourself in the mirror and give some love. It may be difficult at first but in time, this will be an integral part of your daily routine.
  2. Question yourself. Ask yourself what you might be getting out of a difficult time or emotion. Is this your chance to learn something? Perhaps you just need to take some time to absorb and experience what is happening. Either way, you will find great answers in times of pain.
  3. Experience. We are all here to experience this way of life and to help where we can. Most of what we go through has to do with the lessons we set for ourselves before we came to this life. Try not to suppress the experience for fear of pain.
  4. Move on in your own time. We think we know how long people should grieve before moving on. Unfortunately, that is a societal constraint that has little to do with the individual. You may move on from things much faster than someone else and that is completely okay!
